Synopsis
Joe, a CIA professional, tries to balance his personal and professional life as the spearhead of the agency’s war on terror. Real-life military advisors helped produce more authentic weapons handling, housekeeping, positioning, squad-based action, etc. Cited in Soberano Awards (2024). Why oh why do they always insist on a teenage character who is constantly angry and acting irrationally? It has *never* done the TV show any good. Zoe Saldana’s daughter is a total stereotype, all angry and regretful teenagers rolled into one character. One minute you’re watching a show about secret agents in the Middle East, the next you’re faced with endless scenes of family turmoil caused by a selfish teenager *who no one in the world cares about*. My advice: fast-forward through every scene he’s in. They add nothing – zip – nothing – nothing to the story. Skipping them will do wonders for your blood pressure.
