KJ and Dan are having trouble communicating. After several years of strained relations, the couple take a weekend trip to a friend’s cabin to rekindle their romance… only to discover a dying-but-not-quite-dead mouse trapped in a glue trap. They disagree on how to handle the situation, with KJ advocating for a quick death while Dan suggests making the mouse’s final moments as pleasant as possible. The couple compromise and move on, slowly finding their way back to each other in this idyllic setting. Unfortunately, their peace is shattered by the arrival of a small woman who can only be described as “eccentric”: she’s their host’s younger sister, and had no idea anyone was staying at the family cabin. No worries if she crashes, right? As the couple struggles to juggle this intruder with their already tense dynamic, KJ and Dan begin to worry that this pesky third wheel could threaten more than just their relationship…
