Porky Pig and Daffy Duck are Earth’s only hope in the face of an alien invasion. The first Looney Tunes film to be released in theaters that is not distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film was originally scheduled to be released exclusively as a streaming service on the Max streaming service. After the company decided not to release it, the film was sent to another distributor. Eventually, GFM Animation acquired the worldwide distribution rights and changed the film’s theatrical release. Inside the meteor, Daffy demonstrates his talent with levers: he pulls the lever to start the machine, and pushes it back to raise it. Porky does this later in the scene. But when Porky and Petunia are strapped in, Daffy pushes the lever forward and the machine starts them anyway. At the end of the credits, Porky Pig gives his classic line, “That’s it, people!”, only to be interrupted by Daffy Duck, who tells him that this is not the end of the movie and that they need a sequel. He appears in AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon Cast: Crazy Comic Con Coverages (2022). Mr. Bass Man Written by Johnny CymbalDigitrax Entertainment in consultation with Covered Records, Inc. Full Title: An Honest Review of The Day The Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie, Warner Bros.’ First 2D Animated Looney Tunes Feature Film – Looney Tunes Fan. So…Warner Bros. decided not to make a stupid decision, and instead of delaying or canceling their first Looney Tunes animated film forever, they are bringing their animated film to the big screen…which is surprising if I’m being completely honest. Okay, I watched this movie yesterday along with Joker 2 Folie a Deux (I’ll talk about that movie in another post) and I have some thoughts on it. Before I start my review, a few things first: For those who don’t know: I am not a Looney Tunes fan, never have been, and never will be. I have never been a Looney Tunes fan my whole life because the vast majority of the characters are annoying and unfunny (especially the favorites) and their humor is lazy, uncreative, repetitive, and mostly just plain embarrassing. I have very rarely found a short from the Looney Tunes library that I really liked and had to laugh at. I think the Looney Tunes cartoons are the most overrated cartoons of all time, undeserving of their popularity, and I hate Looney Tunes and the cartoon fan community/base that oversells these cartoons when there are plenty of other cartoons that deserve it, and who get upset when someone hates and criticizes Looney Tunes for legitimate reasons, which instills in them a huge bias and double standard. So don’t be surprised if I get defensive, if you treat me like an idiot and tell me I don’t have a childhood and/or a good sense of humor just because I dare to disparage a popular cartoon that I find very overrated and not funny. that this is Warner Bros.’ first animated Looney Tunes movie on the big screen (very depressing and confusing that there hasn’t been an animated feature film about Looney Tunes in over a century, how did Warner Bros. do it back then?). I’m willing to give it a shot. I’ll talk about the pros and cons of this movie. This is also a spoiler-free review, so I won’t give away any major events in the movie. So… what do I think of this movie?… it’s okay… it’s definitely not the best Looney Tunes movie, but it’s definitely not the worst I’ve seen. Let’s start with the positives. Voice acting: The thing that Looney Tunes is mostly consistent in is the voice acting, all the voice actors were on point and the tone matched the emotions of the characters. Eric Bauza is perfect as Daffy and fits the tone as an example of how crazy this character is.
